Bio

I'm a Finnish artist, designer, and toolmaker interested in pushing the boundaries of text-based art and design.

My practice is centered around developing experimental design tools that are based on forgotten and unconventional design methods. I attempt to reimagine some fundamental paradigms of design and typography, offering alternatives to conventional ways of making.

I integrate these experimental tools into my practice as a graphic designer, and into my courses teaching visual communication design at various universities (incl. Aalto University, KADK).
